Great fabric and the quilt will look great. As for fitted sheets, I made fitted crib sheets for my granddaughter and they are much easier to make than I thought. The tricky part is getting the elastic sewn onto the corners but very doable. Here is a link that may be helpful. I didn't make a hem as such, I just serged the edges and attached the elastic. These were crib sheets and the edges where tucked under the mattress not to be seen......my daughter loved them and the ones that went to day care for the nap mats were a big hit with the teachers there.
