Congratulations!! This looks much better than your first attempt. The starch idea worked great. I've only attempted one applique' quilt and I made it out of flannels. Next time I try applique' I'm going to use this method. Thanks for sharing. Good luck with the rest of your butterflies. Can't wait to see it done.
