Beautiful block, GramE. FYI, I did not design any portion of that quilt layout. It was a LQS BOM (block of the month) from a quiltshop more than a decade ago. The layout is one of two options designed by the person who created the BOM. I don’t recall her name but will post it when I return home later today. Btw, the centers of each block are 6 inches and the whole block finishes at 12.

The binding of 3 quilts and a 90 degree day are not compatible. Especially when they have minky and fleece on the back!
So, I made myself a block. I like the look of it better than I expected.
I think i’ll Make 3 more and use them as a center for my quilt. I saw Janice’s BOM quilt post and liked the center she had designed.
