GramE, I was very surprised to discover how off my blocks were. I recall sewing them and thinking their size was quite good. Umm. No! Only one could loosely be called 12 1/2 inches. Very loosely! Lol. It’s frustrating dealing with all the different sizes so I’ve resorted to something I never do...spraying them and stretching them. A bad way to compensate but if I have to fix them all, they’ll never get done. This one will be a “good enough” quilt. This one time good enough will just have to be good enough.
Kass, your blocks are beautiful and soft but I am helpless with border colors. Had I done this, I’d have played it super safe and pulled from the block colors for borders. You went bolder with the insets which are very interesting btw but I don’t know now what colors would work for the border. Someone more experienced with color can probably help. I look forward to seeing your solution.
