And to make matters worse, I didn't have enough of the original fabric to recut. So I spent the rest of the afternoon searching through my stash for suitable substitutes ( I'm one fabric shy and will have to make a trip to shop) and cutting what I had to work with.
I think I was excited to get started and didn't double check my math before I cut. So lesson learned. Tomorrow is another day.
I'm sorry, that sucks! I've definitely been there. Can you use the cut fabric for another project, as-is?

I love the Seuss quilt! And sarge1, I think the aqua is perfect

I finished my mini-quilt thanks to the spot-on tutorial I was sent about inside corners. The joining-curved-binding part proved to be beyond me (I cut the binding when I thought I knew what I was doing, but I didn't, and then it was pretty short), so I just did the tuck-under-sew-down method, and it mostly worked. (And I don't think I'll be cutting an inside corner this steeply any time soon!)

I still have plenty to learn, but it feels good to get another project completed Thanks raggiemom for starting the Quilt Along, and everyone who participated
