The storm was pretty bad on the Gulf coast where it hit land, but up here, 150 miles inland, we only got a day of constant drizzle. Not even wind, thank goodness. The ground did get saturated, but haven't seen any flooding like they thought we might have. Last night a small tree fell over and took out power in our area, but they got it back on pretty quickly. One casualty of that was our modem. It was plugged into a surge protector, but maybe it wasn't any good any more... When the power came back on, the modem fried. Bummer. But it could have been worse!
