I have made Raggedy Andy dolls for little boys and even made a curly, crochet wig for one Andy who had "lost" his hair. Naturally, the young man involved says he has no recollection of Andy. When Cabbage Patch kids were the rage in the early 1980's, our youngsters had the generic knockoffs. The male child had swim trunks, fleece sweatshirt and pants sets with team logos, etc. This man played tea party with his nieces a decade ago. The nieces were surprised this hunk who wrestled and played football knew how to play with them! Nothing wrong with using one's imagination IMHO.
