Right after I made my first Afghan (not quilting, yet relevant), my oldest DGD was at my house and asked who it was for. I told her I didn't know yet. She said, "Ooh, can I have it?" I told her that it wasn't made in her favorite colors. She didn't care and she's carted it around for 6 years now
