While I was working, the larger quilts that were finished were for specific people, but I made some wallhangings just because I wanted to make them. Now that I'm retired... we'll see. I'm just about finished with a "jelly roll race" quilt I made this past week because my quilt room is all askew, waiting for new windows/trim to be stained. I was able to work on it at two quilt group meetings, and chose it both because I wanted to try the pattern and because I couldn't get to most of my fabric to work on anything else! I'll post a photo when I've finished the binding. It will be a donation/charity quilt.
