Sure! Nothing wrong with doing something just for fun. I really enjoy the planning and piecing part of quilting the most, so some of the tops don't get quilted down in a timely manner because that isn't where my fun is. I consider a completed top as a finished project, even if it isn't a finished quilt

Sometimes we get motivated by an idea, technique or a collection of fabric or whatever. I have a small group and a friend I quilt with so sometimes need projects that travel well or are at least in a stage that travels.

A lot of these projects end up as donation quilts but I never know which ones will be given away so I make all of them to the same standards of design and quality as I do for special projects.
