It's over
. Can we do it again, next month? Retreats are worth it. This was $27/day. Included lunch. Most people are within 20 minutes of home. Didn't think I'd like that, I learned something new. It is nice to sleep in your own bed, bring things I forgot, no clothing packing. I had a high priority meeting and was only 10 minutes away from the venue, didn't have to miss out on the retreat for a 1 hour meeting.
My projects were mostly from my stash. Made lots of progress on 3 projects that I've been avoiding. Stopped by the LQS on the way home to get fabrics I know I don't have, to finish these projects. Even got to use $25 card.
So now, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, so they'll get finished.
The drywall guys come tomorrow to texture. Since my sister is coming for 3 days starting Monday, this weekend is CLEANING! Then we can paint. DH will find out I want new colors after 10 yrs. Some of the spots will be touched up with the same color. Then I can buy new love seat/chair for the family room. It's a good day in the neighborhood!
