One of the best ways to eliminate drag is to suspend the quilt. Leah Day uses elastic cords hung from the ceiling, with clamps on the quilt. Alternatively, you can hang quilt "suspenders" from a frame. The Jenoop is no longer made, but many people have constructed their own from PVC.
