Default Hey Diddle Diddle Baby Quilt

I love this Timeless Treasures cows jumping over the moon fabric I found on etsy last year. They had exactly one yard. Last week my daughter asked me to make a quilt for a friend’s 9-month old daughter. I had my daughter look through fabric on hand and she picked this cute fabric. I looked through other fabric on hand and thought a few pieces from Spectrum by Cotton+Steel and a few pieces from Fancy by Lily Ashbury for Moda would go nicely with the cows jumping over the moon. I also thought it was lucky to find a few strips in a Tula Pink jelly roll I recently bought for the binding. It added a little whimsy I think. The Timeless Treasures fabric is so cute, I didn’t want to cut it up. So I used it for the backing, which limited the size of the quilt to about 36x36. I found the idea for the pieced front on VanessaChristensen.com. She called it reverse hopscotch. Thanks for looking.
