Flannel Binding?
I am making a small charity quilt from a printed cotton panel.
Because the panel was very small I have used a pretty contrasting flannel to make a border and have used the same flannel for the backing.
I’m now wondering about the binding. I fancy using the flannel but wondered if there were any disadvantages to this. I would machine stitch the binding to the front then hand stitch it to the back.
