I had Vikings for 30 years, borrowed a Pfaff and there is a definite learning curve. It was harder for me to use and the instruction book was very confusing. Same with the Pfaff serger I have, works great but instruction book is confusing.. Friends have the Pfaff and really like them. Just be sure and get some lessons from your dealer.
