I'm not much of a purple person either, Macybaby, but I think it looks good. Are you going to be using only purple, or will you introduce a splash of different colors here and there? I started a purple quilt for a couple (the girl's favorite color is purple) and I found that by bringing in a little buttery yellows and some soft greens and even a few deep forest greens it made the purple more bearable!
The couple unfortunately broke up before getting married, so I still have the top unquilted but it's on the to-do list.
You have such a good eye for color and design I am sure your quilt will be stunning!
