Great award, Nan and well deserved for the time you and others give to 'help' out those in need. In the old school I was raised in, it was what one did for one another, then ask them to 'pass it on' as an act of kindness. We taught it to our kids as well.

Yes, I have been on the receiving end too. From a lady quilter, whom I meet through the QB folks who lived some 45 minutes from me, Quilter 65, a strong religious and family-strong lady who has enriched my life by driving me to the Iowa doctors for retina eye care and skin cancer doctor. I cannot say enough good things about her and I let her know how much I appreciate her help.
