My Morse fotomatic had that same goo on her camstack. I asked about it back when (
Morse Fotomatic IV 4400 repair) and got no reply, so I wiped it all off. It looked better dry! I haven't pulled her out in a while to make sure she still runs. Too many sick machines to fix, too little time.
