My Christmas quilt
Today I finished my Christmas quilt. It is large lap quilt size and I am really pleased with it overall. The centre panel is paper pieced and the other blocks I took and adapted from a range of sources. It was the second big paper piecing project I have done and the first time I have tried QAYG. I’ve only been quilting and using a sewing machine for 10 months and I am pleased with the progress I have made. Next time I will cut the binding bigger (the tutorial I followed suggested 2 inch strips but I wish I did 2 1\2) as it was too tight so ended up wobbly in places. Overall I’m pleased though.
