I had the idea of using the large quantity of polyester gingham I was given and some thin polyester batting and making one of these rigs. Polyester wears like iron, and would not be as heavy wet when I wash it, since my elderly washing machine does not like heavyweight items. I have also thought about cutting the polyester gingham on the bias since it won’t squish as readily as cotton for flattening it. I would love comments on if any of you see any pitfalls in my idea. Many heads make light work.
