Fauxgello
I had experimented with this concept on a blue and white quilt, but had put the dark solid color on the ends instead of in the middle of the design. I posted it here and agreed with commenters that the dark color on the ends was too stark. So I gave it another try with the solids in the center and am much happier with the result

I'm still trying to decide if it needs an additional border, perhaps in the green or even pieced.
