There is Jeff's Sewing and Vacuum World and Augusta Sewing Center both on Washington Road in Augusta and both are wonderful shops. They are only a short ways apart (maybe a mile or so) one on one side of the road and the other on the other side. Jeff's is a Janome shop and the other is a Bernina shop. There were a couple others in the area but I am not sure if they are still open or not. As of yesterday both of the others were......maybe someone else will know. I don't get there often as it is about 100 miles from me and I have to plan a day trip.
