Can someone tell me if this is a fair and/or good deal? I currently own a Bernina 1260 that I love but I would like to upgrade too.
I don't want to spend $$$ on a new Bernina and found a 440QE for $1000. It is a one owner machine that has been serviced once in the 6 years she has owned it. Any thoughts? Is there another comparable machine for less? It doesn't have to be a Bernina but I am partial to the brand because of my 1260.
I do all types of sewing but I find myself more and more attracted to quilting.
