Well I finished my flimsie & here it is. Unfortunately I liked it better before without the lighter border. I really, really didn’t like it until after I put the second dark purple border on it. If I had to do it all over again I’d add another row & another column too to expand the quilt in size, add a different second border of a darker combo of cool colors or just a deep teal & then add the second purple border again. I just couldn’t find the right fabric for it. I do love the way the quilt center came out. Judy’s Mystery train was a real success. It’s given me the incentive to try another mystery quilt called Good Furtune coming up that’s starting Black Friday by Bonnie Hunter at Quiltville.com, if I can find the color & yardage of fabrics she says is needed for it.
