Lori Holt at
www.beeinmybonnet.blogspot.com has a sewing machine block in her book Spelling Bee. You can make it in a 12" or a 6" block.
I have also seen a few sewing machine blocks in the Quiltmaker 100 Blocks magazines. They also made a book out of the first 10 issues. Blocks are 12" finished.
