This is an 8" finished block I drew up in EQ7 to give you an idea, but you can change the strip widths to suit yourself, but the 'points' must be in the same places on the bottom/right sides and the top/left sides, so that they meet when the blocks are sewn together. You could also print the block any size you like. Hope I've helped.
