Glad you found a method to get your blocks to turn out correctly. Bonnie has asked that we don't mention the size of units or the number of them, so it would be better to not tell how many you have done.
What kinds of things are you making for Christmas presents? I am not doing anything big, but I usually make ornaments for my adult kids. This year I am using wool appliqué in the shape of mailing tags. I actually have them done already! That's a first for me.
