Would you be as concerned about meeting quilting density requirements of your batting on a Christmas table runner that is not likely to see the use and washing of a quilt or placemats? I have Hobbs 80/20 in a 14”x60” table runner and there are spaces left a bit larger than the 3 1/2” requirement that aren’t quilted and I’m stuck as to what to add that won’t take away from the runner which is appliquéd.
