I have an InstaPot and LOVE it. I grew up hearing all the stories about Presto cookers blowing up and was a little apprehensive about using the InstaPot but got over it. Actually they do not get up to as high a pressure as the pots for the stove PLUS there are built in safeguards that will cause the pot to shut down if a problem arises. It takes the place of my crock pot (gave it away) plus it has a yogurt setting, cooks brown rice perfectly, etc... Can't say enough good things about my InstaPot.
