Yesterday was so fun. I went to the Christmas brunch of the Brownwood guild. I took a quiche. DD loaned me her crock pot as it has a lid that can be clamped down. So I cooked the quiche over night. I had never done one in a crock pot. It looked over done when I got up. Well, it was wonderful. I will do that again! The party was so nice & I had a great time. I ran some errands before I went to the Sew & Share. I worked on my Bordered Periwinkle quilt. I have all the rows sewn together. Somehow I have an extra block. I am thinking about bordering it & use it on the back to make the quilt into a Quillow.
Today DH & I went to Midland to see a Cornea specialist. He says that not only does DH have dry eye syndrome, he has some inflammation in the eye. He changed the eye drops, added an oral antibiotic, added steroid drops & added an antibiotic salve for the drops. All these meds are gonna be a lot less $ than the current drops he is taking. I am excited to think that his eyes might get better.
