. When I was a teen, before I drove, my friends and I used to ride our bikes the back way through neighborhoods in order to reach Carvel out on the highway. We went at least once a week in summer. A number of years ago, a Carvel opened up in my town, so hubby and I went. I darned near had a stroke when I saw the prices. We enjoyed our ice creams that day but decided we’d not be going again. I’ll grab a half gallon of nice IC at the grocery when we’re in the mood and still come out way ahead.
My my eldest son and his dog will arrive this afternoon by car. (My younger son is here already.) This will be a first. The dog is very small but my dogs aren’t fond of other canines so this introduction has to be done well. If it doesn’t go well, we’ll have to keep them separated which would be a disappointment. Wish us well!
