then flip one over and sew to the other.
i even added triangles on the sides where necessary and then later trimmed the edges. didn't try adding half hexagons there.
size of mine were larger but not cut straight, so i made them smaller. .
i used a Kaye West hexagon template. about six inches across and the flat sides about 3 inches.
the base of the triangle must fit the flat sides since it will be sewn to that.
60 degree ruler is all you need.
