I read some reviews on this and basically it can be convenient if you don’t like cooking. The downside of the instant pot is you can’t adjust during the process.

There is also the time lag for pressurizing and if you want to cook with a pressure cooker it is recommended to just get that.

It can cook some things faster but if you have the extra 15 min you can use a stove and pot for most things.

So, I have a friend that loves the gadget but she really doesn’t like to cook and has an old stove. I am fine with leaving a stockpot on back burner for a stew or chili.

You can look around online and decide.
