Has anyone seen a bargello made with different size strips? The ones I have seen all start with the same size strips (ie 2 1/2" 11/2") I made a tree skirt using a bargello pattern I found, cut into triangles to make the circle, I would like to make a matching table runner with the leftovers. they are already stitched together 41/2" 21/2" 3" 5" Can I just move them up and down without matching side to side seams (obviously they won't match up because of the different sizes) or would that not look very good? any ideas and suggestions would be much appreciated.
