Ladies, thank you so much for your suggestions. I think a log cabin kind of quilt is the way to go to use those white scraps and make them look good. The Converging corner doesn't convince me (I love some symmetry in a quilt). But while looking for ideas, I've seen a Beads Log cabin (the colored section create a round shape). Now, that's my type of quilt!!! Any idea where to find a pattern for this (and will it require 100 hours of cutting?)

-Loisf, I know what you mean. I've done a three time a quilt that ended up with one single tiny piece of a slightly different white. It was not visible in my studio but it was on daylight! Each time, I was very upset, but each time, my customer didn't even come close to notice it.
