Even though I had to shop I didn’t look at sales or anything I just found what I needed & left, so still doing good. I’m going to continue working on taming my scraps and try to pass some on. Even though my shelves are showing signs of improvement those scrap bins seem to just get bigger and bigger. I used all scraps for my Bonnie Hunter ( Good Fortune quilt) and just created more scraps. .....
I'm not one for scrap quilting, typically. For me, it takes too long to organize and cut up. I'm getting better at it. Last year my green scraps were out of control so I made a strip quilt and it worked out well. I need to try doing that more. Now, I'm attempting to cut up scraps in different sizes to avoid scrap bags. But, you are are right, it seems we just make more scraps. Lol.. Oh well...
