I'm able to remove the gib screw and the gib moves out, but the bobbin case base won't slide to the proper position in order to remove it. I have the Exact same issue. I (stupidly) tried to sew with some upholstery thread. Now it is jammed so bad, I cannot rotate the bobbin case base in order to remove it. Did you ever figure out how to fix this problem?
