Bearding on top of quilt
Hello, I have been reading through posts here about bearding of the batting. I am wondering if any of you have ever heard of bearding or batting migrating to the top of quilts where there has not been any stitching. I had a customer call me this week to tell me that the batting was bearding or she called it pilling on the top, and sent me pictures. I have never had this problem in all my years of Quilting and I have used this same batting for many years (although this is a new roll of batting.) But the funny thing is that the the white spots of batting shown in the pictures are not anywhere near my stitching, so it could not have been caused from my needle. Anyone else have this problem?
