So I would say take the amount recommended by your doctor, if you're doing this at the doctor's suggestion. If not, take the most conservative amount listed on the package directions and increase or decrease the dose to adjust it for your body's needs.
I take a B Complex supplement everyday because of my Fibromyalgia. It helps give me a bit more energy. But, since I had Weightloss surgery in 2008, I have to add B12 supplements and/or shots because the body doesn't retain the B vitamins as mentioned here. What can be scary, but it's harmless, is your urine will be bright yellow for a few hours.
