Block 4 is on BB's blog
- It is a very interesting block dedicated to Alfred ("Affie"). There are 3 lovely samples that are shown on her blog. Each show how this block can have different 'dimensional' effects depending on the fabric used behind the center 4 pointed star. The fabric used in the last example by Becky Brown has lots of depth and is quite striking.
I hope to post a few pics of my efforts for the beginning blocks possibly tomorrow. I wasn't totally happy with the fabric that I chose for the secondary background star that makes up the edges of the blocks so I did a little tweaking and drafting of those section pieces. I will try it out today and possibly the result will be more to what I imagined in my mind's eye for that fabric. LOL hopefully it works out.
