The quilting is going to add to this lovely fabric too. I def hope we get to see.
My thought was also to put an applique in the background areas. I thought of the simple rose of Sharon rose or a rosebud to complement the fabrics.
I like the quilt the way it is. You could also add more color in the center of the white blocks by snowballing the corners with your favorite fabric before you sew them together.
