I am planning to add a border like the backing in blue. The quilting will just have to make the quilt and that's IF I can do it on my machine. I have quilted a queen before on a regular throat machine but not easy I can tell you.

I think if you could find that fabric in the second picture in yardage then you could put a 5" or 6" border on the quilt it would really be pretty. Actually, I like the blocks as is but possibly if you added a border, you may like it better.
