Derwent Intense pencils are incredibly versatile. Made with a wax that dissolves in water allowing the pigment to flood the area, they combine the two disciplines of drawing and painting beautifully. Derwent offers a wide selection of water-soluble pencils ranging from classic watercolour to intense ink like pencils, pure graphite to graphite with a hint of colour.. I ordered mine from the following: www.pencils.co.uk
You will also find a hints and tips sheet showing you how to use the accessories to best creative effect.

I also use "Martha Stewart" tintable fabric medium from WalMart and I think you can also get it from Michaels, it dries clear, and almost looks like a fine plastic film over your painted work but is not shiny, you need to heat set your painting after using this medium to preserve your drawing or painting.
