There is a 1/4 bias maker for that size of vine. If you want smaller, you cut fabric on the bias if you want to curve it. I fold the narrow piece cut in half and pin it to the shape you want and hand sew the vine through both layers along the line drawn on the background. I then trim with my appliqué scissors close to the line sewn and then fold the bias strip over the sewing line and raw edges and use an invisible appliqué to stitch down the fold being careful that the raw edges are covered. Anything narrower, I embroider on.
