if they are all the same color combo, I'd cut strips of 5" wide fabric, lay them right sides together and cut triangles with my EZ angle ruler, and sew. I do this method with anything about 2.5" UF or larger. If I need something smaller, then I'll cut a bit larger and trim.
I think my EZ angle ruler is one of my favorites. I tried doing some of "X at a time" methods and just can't get them to work out as well as I'd like.
