I've been playing with keto since august 2018. When I do it well, it works. When I cheat, It doesn't. But, it has reset my need for sugar. I love cream in my coffee, and no longer crave sugar of any kind. I'd rather go without than use artificial sweeteners... that being said, however I can tolerate Swerve sweetener and have a bag of the powdered sugar version. I eat a lot of nuts... almonds, walnuts, pecans, peanut butter, as well as a lot of cheese and meat.
My favorite 'fill me up soup' is Cream of Chicken, made with half water, half whipping cream. I loved it as a kid, and had forgotten about it...Be sure to eat vegetables, and berries too. They will also help you feel like you're not depriving yourself.
Keto fat bombs are a great 'desserty' treat. I make mine in mini muffin papers and freeze them. I'll take out one each day and it's enough to feel like I've had dessert without going crazy.
