I don't paper piece yet, but my first scrappy quilt will be a simple strip quilt. This is a nice one:

I was not able to find a photo of THE one, but this one is close. I intend to make the center strip white, so it comes out looking sashed. That would look especially nice if most of your dots are either white or on a white background.
