Welcome to the boards and and the hobby. I did office work most of my career and when you do it correctly the stuff just moves off your desk, always busy and yet never quite done except for whatever deadlines going on. With the quilting I have control over what I do and I can see it. I know that I cut those 780 squares or whatever I'm doing. Makes me feel good to have something physical to point to and say "I did that". Also good to know that in the grand scheme of things, nothing much bad is going to happen even if something does go wrong or not according to plan.

I'm finishing up my current project and getting ready to cut the next one -- yes, I am going to have some fun slicing and dicing my fabric!
