I'm not a kitchen gadget girl, but a relative bought me an electric hard boiled/soft boiled egg cooker and I love it! If you don't have one, here's how to cook eggs so they peel easily, even when fresh: Place eggs in pan of cold water to cover, on stove, lid on. Bring to full boil, immediately turn off heat. Do not remove lid at all. Leave eggs in the water until it's cool. They'll peel easily.
