I am making a beach bag and it calls for adhesive foam between the lining and bag. I have never used it before and it seems quite pricey. I was wondering about using 1 or 2 layers of warm & natural and spray baste it instead. The front and back are quilted to the lining.
I realize it probably will not be as firm but because it is intended for a tote/beach bag if the batting would be a reasonable and less expensive alternative? Thanks
I recently made a bag that used this foam-almost dropped the class because of the price-but sucked it up and bought it. It was so nice to work with and really made the bag look exceptional. It may not matter for what you are making, but for a professional looking end product-well worth it!
